17/09/13 Willenhall Town 3 - 2 Smethwick Rangers

With just enough fit players to field a team, the make shift Lockmen put in a gritty performance to claim the much needed points.

Young keeper and phyiso Aeron Cooper had to play up front, and to be fair didn't look out of place as the Reds took control of the first half.
Simon Laidley grabbed two goals, while captain Jake Morgan, who had flew into the country earlier in the day, grabbed a goal to give the Reds a 3-0 lead.
It could have been much more as the Reds controlled the game, and were unlucky when Rangers were awarded a penatly, after the ball spun up and hit the arm of Dickin. Rangers converted the kick right on half time.

The second half saw Rangers push the Lockmen deep into their own half, and only some gritty defending and some poor finishing denied Rangers.
The Reds were cursed again when Morgan limped off, with a tweaked hamstring.
However, the Rangers pressure evenatually cracked the Willenhall defence and it went 3-2.
With the game nearly over, the Reds found a second wind and should have put the game to bed, with several good chances.

Lockmen line up; Jake Woodhouse, Simon Laidley, Dan Radford, Carl Whyte, Paul Holden, Curtis Holliday, Curtis Ellis, Andrew Dicken, Jake Morgan, Danny Campbell, Aeron Cooper.
Bench; Jason Hewitt, John Lewis, Dave Cartwright, Luke Draisley, Tom Edge.
