03/09/13 Willenhall Town 0 vs Black Country Rangers 1

As Laurell K. Hamilton once said; "Life is often like that, the best balancing on a knife edge with the worst." -

The best tonight was the shift put in by each of the Willenhall Town players.
The worst was a scuffed goal right at the death for the visitors.

After a minutes silence in honour of the late Barry Stobart, the match statrted and the Reds match their visitors.
Even a dubious dive which the ref awarded a spot kick was brilliantly saved by keeper Jake Woodhouse to restore some justice to the proceedings.

As the game progressed it looked less likely that BCR would record their 6th league win, and that the Reds would turn their season around.

But right on full time BCR somehow scrambled the ball over the line, in a cruel twist of fate.
The Lockmen can hold their heads up high and go into Saturdays game full of confidence.
