Re: Bill Rowe Charity Football Match
WTFC 4 vs Wrens Nest 3
It was a game the late Bill Rowe would have loved, with seven goals and end to end action.
A decent crowd turned out to support the Bill Rowe charity game which was raising money for the British Heart Foundation.
Division Two side Wrens Nest were pacy and took an early lead, which was double before the half hour.
The Lockmen struggled to go with the pace until a 3 goal blitz gave them the advantage just before half time.
Skipper Jake Morgan knocking in the third goal.
The second half saw an unfortunate own goal give the visitor’s hope, before Tom Clews knocked in the winning goal.

Re: Bill Rowe Charity Football Match
Willenhall Town football club are pleased to announce that a grand total of £450.50 was raised in aid of the British Heart Foundation, in their recent game with Wrens Nest.
The game at Long Lane Park was in memory of local Willenhall worker and Willenhall Town fan Bill Rowe.
Bill worked for many years before his sudden death at The Lockmen’s sponsors Dynatech who kindly bought the team’s tracksuits.
Bill had dealings with Wrens Nest football club as well as Willenhall so it was fitting the game was with Wrens Nest.
In a pulsating game which Bill would have loved, the Lockmen came from two goals down to win 4-3.
The Clubs involved would love to thank everyone who supported the evening and who raised such a great amount for a great cause.
